Stopped for a quick bit on a road trip and the food was good, prices were OK , service was good even though it was a packed house.
The first time I ate at Maasconi's I had the black and blue burger with homemade tots. Outstanding! However, I am frustrated because I've been back 4 or 5 times and always order the same thing. I ask for medium rare and I get well done every time. I had an order to go just today and there wasn't a spot of pink, not even in the middle. The burger is dry and hard to swallow. I don't know if I will give them another chance

The food is out standing. We had the nachos as the appetizer and they were loaded with meat and cheese. For the main meal we had the monte Cristo and waffle fries and it has got to be hands down the best one I have ever had.
Great food and a menu that makes us want to go back to try more of their offerings. We took advantage of the Tuesday night special: get one burger or flatbed and get another for half off. The homemade tater tots were awesome.
